The Memoirs of Khawajah MuÍammad Bux (Australian Businessman) – Part VII
Abstract
When I returned to Australia after a full year, I had in mind to get my brother Ghulam Hussain a shop anyway. In my opinion earning a profit of one hundred pounds in one year was not a big deal. He must have done it. When I enquired about him after getting there, I learnt that he did not visit the city quite often and returns to the countryside for selling goods purchased on credit. I also learnt that Ghulam Hussain was complaining against me all the time. He told everyone that I had scuttled him after calling him over to this country and had given him nothing. I listened to all this quite patiently.
